Summer Wrapup: 2017

Today is officially Labor Day, which some acknowledge as it’s the unofficial beginning of the end of the summer season. Although, I must say after dealing with record breaking heat wave temperatures in the Los Angeles area for the past week, summer feels so far from over. Fortunately, I was able to spend some fabulous time with some amazing friends at a BBQ/pool party, surrounded by some amazing people. I love how I’m always reminded of who you surround yourself with, will definitely motivate, inspire you and get your ass moving. Hence, I’m finally posting another update since being on hiatus for like … ever!

IN THE BLOOD
This past Monday, I just opened a production of Suzan Lori-Parks’ Pulitzer Prize Finalist play, In The Blood. This production was a lot of work, not only because I’m blessed to be gaining some traction in performance work, but any theatre person who has read an SLP play, knows there are so many amazing layers in the stories and the characters that she creates. I have never been more happier to check this off my life goals list. Playing the character of Hester LaNegrita has really made me grow as a woman, a human and an artist.

BOSCH
I can just say I am excited to be a part of the upcoming season 4 of Amazon’s original series Bosch. All the cast and crew were so pleasant and professional and of course, craft services rocked my socks. The new season is set to be launched in early 2018.
