5 AM call time! The only good thing about that is there is no LA traffic. Ah the things we do for what we love to do. After many rehearsals, dance and singing rehearsals, today was the big shoot day at the CBS Radford Lot. The musical short film Sing About It, directed by the fabulous Alyssa Carter is shooting on the lot today.
I’ve been on quite a few sets and have I have say that the production value for this film has been as impressive as if it were a big budget feature film production. The cast and the crew were a joy to collaborate with on this project. Bonus about working on a musical is that there were live musicians playing between takes. I’ll just say we were jamming in the streets.
When I thought about how it’s been a long time since I’ve actually sang in a project, I realized this was the second project where I was singing. I don’t really call myself a singer as I feel that I have a lot of work to do in that area, but I feel it’s a sign from the universe to be open to anything.
